I had the pleasure of interviewing Nicole Richie Live for her first visit to Dubai in honor of Dubai’s Shopping Festival 20th year anniversary.
She is a woman of many talents; reality star, entrepreneur, author, producer, actress, philanthropist. Surrounded by music and costumes growing up with Lionel Richie, she developed an appreciation for fashion and this became a primary reason the House of Harlow 1960 collection was born. Nicole is the brand creative director and was invited by Dubai to showcase her limited collection to the region via a unique pop-up stand at The Beach, opposite JBR.
The collection produces high quality items across jewelry, ready to wear, footwear, handbags, sunglasses and most recently home fragrances.
Nicole was a delight to interview and very open to answer all questions put forth. We discussed about motherhood, her journey as an entrepreneur and mostly, how the House of Harlow brand was born.

It was a great honor to be selected to moderate the Taken 3 Press conference in Dubai with lead actor Liam Neeson.
The Press Conference was held at the prestigious One and Only Royal Mirage, which apparently is the first choice for international celebrities whilst in Dubai.
Prior to hosting the press conference I had to watch the Taken 3 movie before the official release date. A surreal moment when you’re sitting in a 1000 seat movie theatre on your own. Nonetheless, you do what you have to do!
The premiere of Taken 3 made history in the Middle East. It was the very first time in history a Hollywood actor would attend a premiere outside film festivals.
Interviewing lead actor Liam Neeson was an absolute delight and moderating the press conference for Novo Cinema’s and Gulf Film was a pleasure.

On the 5th January 2015, International Presenter and Keynote Speaker, Shereen Mitwalli shared the stage and conducted a live interview in front of thousands of fans with Bollywood megastar Hrithik Roshan.
Guest appearance by Hrithik at The Dubai Mall were the highlight of a special exhibition by Rado. The event was attended by Her Excellency Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and the organisers of DSF.
The Indian superstar, making his first appearance in Dubai as a brand ambassador for Rado, also unwrapped with Rado CEO Matthias Breschan an exclusive twenty-piece edition of the Rado HyperChrome Diamonds collection in The Dubai Mall.
The activation by Rivoli and Rado is one of a number of innovative promotions and activations being organised and managed by Dubai’s leading retail groups during the current DSF with its theme of a Journey of Celebrations that was launched on January 1.
Hrithik Roshan was so impressed by the overall event and specifically Shereen’s interactive performance, he requested the entire audience to give her a round of applause.
